Dyed armor has become some what of a phenomenon in Skyblock with entire communities being built up around it, and people paying hundreds of millions of coins just for a certain shade. However there are a few subsections and different varieties.
Fairy/Crystal Dyed Armour[]
The most common form of dyed armour is using the fairy armour/crystal armour dying glitch. Since this glitch is still able to be performed items dyed this way hold NO extra value when compared to the same item non-dyed. Below is a list of ALL possible colour ids able to be created by fairy/crystal armour thus any armour with these colours ids hold NO extra value.
Also undyed armour can still be created by right clicking armour onto a cauldron filled with water, this removes any colour and reverts it to vanilla leather colour.

OG Dyed Armour/Exotic Armour[]
If a piece of dyed armour does NOT have one of the colour ids listed above then its an OG dyed armour piece otherwise known as exotic dyed armour. Depending on the colour and type of armour could be worth millions.
This means the armour was dyed before November 2019. Before November 2019 armour could simply be dyed using the vanilla Minecraft method of a piece of dye next to any leather armour allowing for colours not achievable by fairy/crystal dying to be created. This way of dying was removed due to people using dyed armour to scam.

NOTE: Vanilla leather armour and null boots are still able to be dyed using the vanilla Minecraft method.
As well as the exotic armour mentioned above there is one other version of exotic dyed armour. In several cases after an update, if an armour is used to craft another armour sometimes the newer/upgraded armour retains the colour of the old armour. The most famous example of this being yellow shark scale armour which if crafted for the first few hours after it was added retained the yellow colour of sponge armour used to craft it. Exotic dyed rancher boots can still be made this way if an exotic dyed farmer boots is used in the craft.
This also resulted in black Necron, Storm, Goldor and Maxor armour with the colour id of #0 being created. As for the first few hours after dungeons was released the armour retained the colour of the Wither armor used to craft it. These #0 black armours are very rare and very desirable.
